Web/browsers: How to use Reader Mode

Open the browser's menu (three dots)
Select 'Read aloud' from the menu
Content is displayed in reading mode with read aloud controls
Select 'Show Reader' from the View menu
Open the browser's menu (three dots)
Select 'Reading mode'
Content is displayed in reading mode

Instructions


Option 1: Microsoft Edge (Slide 1-3):

  1. Open an article or webpage.
  2. Navigate to more (…) at the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select More tools > Read Aloud.
  4. You can play, move forward or back in content.
Option 2: Safari (Slide 4): 


  1. Select the Reader button in the View menu on the left side of the address bar. 


Option 3: Chrome (Slide 5-7): 

  1. Open an article or webpage.
  2. Navigate to more (…) at the top right-hand corner.
  3. Select More tools > Reading mode.
  4. Reading mode appear on the right-hand side of the screen.
