Microsoft Teams: How to turn on Live Captions during a meeting

Join a Teams meeting
Click the 'More' menu (three dots)
Select 'Language and speech' from the menu
Toggle 'Always show captions in my meetings' on
Live captions displayed at the bottom of the screen

Instructions

  1. Join or start a meeting.
  2. Select More actions (… icon) on the top menu.
  3. Select Settings and then Accessibility.
  4. Under Captions, toggle on Always show captions in my meetings.
  5. Captions will appear at the bottom of the screen as people speak.
