Microsoft Teams: How to use Immersive Reader

Open the chat menu in Microsoft Teams
Select Immersive Reader
Content displayed in Immersive Reader
Adjust text size and font
Use the Play button to read aloud

Instructions

  1. Hover over or select a message in chat or channel.
  2. Select the three dots (…) then Immersive Reader.
  3. The message opens in a full-screen reader view.
  4. Use options to change font size, spacing, background colour, and voice.
  5. Select Play to hear the message read aloud.

Tip: Use Immersive Reader to reduce visual clutter and support focus.
