Built in MacOS: How to use Alt Text in Documents

Navigate to File menu in Microsoft Word
Right-click the image and select Edit Alt Text
Add a description of the image

Instructions

  1. Open your document.
  2. Right-click the image > select Edit Alt Text (or Format > Image > Description).
  3. Enter a short description of the image’s purpose or content.
  4. Save or close.
