Built-in Windows: How to turn on Narrator

Navigate to Settings from the Start menu
Select Accessibility from the left-hand menu
Select Narrator
Toggle Narrator on
Adjust voice and speed settings
Adjust verbosity and other settings

Instructions

  1. Keyboard shortcut: Press Windows logo key + Ctrl + Enter to start Narrator.
  2. Navigate to Settings through the Start menu.
  3. Select Accessibility from the left-hand menu.
  4. Select Narrator.
  5. Toggle Narrator on.
  6. Adjust voice, speed, pitch and verbosity if needed.

Tip: Use Tab and Arrow keys to move through the screen when using Narrator.
